The Master of Science in Cognitive Science at RPTU University Kaiserslautern-Landau brings together Social Sciences, Psychology, IT, Linguistics, and Biology/Neuroscience into a single research-oriented programme. The aim is to draw on established knowledge across these disciplines to examine how humans, technology, economies, organisations, communication systems, and social behaviour are interconnected. The programme spans 4 semesters and begins in the winter semester. It opens with an introduction module in the first semester, after which students choose three specialisations from five available areas: Perception; Cognition and Knowledge; Language and Linguistics; Cognitive Neuroscience; and Computation. The programme concludes with an internship followed by a Master's thesis. Students may also earn certificates for specific modules.
