Master in Environmental and Land Engineering

Environmental and Land Engineering at Cracow University of Technology, in Kraków, Poland, is a master's programme taught in English over 3 semesters. It trains future engineers and develops interdisciplinary professional competences across several areas: methods for assessing and protecting the aquatic environment, remediating soil, and protecting the atmosphere; the use of engineering tools for data analysis, process and system modelling, and geographic information systems; the design and operation of building installations and water supply and sewage networks; the technology and construction of devices for water and wastewater treatment; waste management and energy recovery from waste, along with renewable energy systems; the design, construction, and operation of heating, cooling, air conditioning, and ventilation installations and devices; and the assessment of geotechnical conditions and the interaction between buildings and the ground. The best students, after meeting certain conditions, can complete the second and third semesters at the Faculty of Engineering and Architecture at the Università degli Studi di Cagliari in Sardinia, Italy, and graduate with two diplomas: a Master of Environmental Engineering from Cracow University of Technology and a Master in Environmental and Land Engineering from Università degli Studi di Cagliari.
