About Master in Visual Computing.Html

Graduates pursue careers and further study in sectors including optical industry, medical technology, bioinformatics, and robotics, or go into automotive engineering or multimedia design. The programme focuses on generating and analysing digital images and visual simulations, applicable in areas like industrial quality control and automotive technology. Max Planck Institute for Informatics and the German Research Center for Artificial Intelligence (DFKI) are involved in the curriculum. The Master's thesis must be completed in full-time study; part-time study is an option for other programme components.

Students are equipped with knowledge of informatics, mathematics, physics, and mechatronics, as well as specific skills in image generation, analysis, and synthesis. The four-semester programme comprises 120 credits, with approximately 30 credits per semester.
