About Master in Media, Technology and Society

Graduates of the Media, Technology and Society programme go on to work in roles such as Communication & Content Manager at the International Career Service Rhein-Main. This Master’s programme is offered in two variants: three semesters for graduates of a relevant seven-semester Bachelor programme with 210 CP, and four semesters for graduates of a relevant six-semester programme with 180 CP. The four-semester variant includes an internship of at least 18 weeks, designed to provide an up-to-date insight into the state of practice and subject-specific challenges in the field of the interaction between media, technology and society. Practical positions are procured by the students themselves, and can be completed in companies from the media and communications industry as well as relevant research institutions. The programme is taught in English, and no additional language tests are required. The MTS programme is taught at Darmstadt University of Applied Sciences, and the MTS was awarded the qualification of a Master of Media Technology and Society.
