Master of Science (M.Sc.) Human-Computer Interaction

Our international Masterstudiengang „Human-Computer Interaction“ is a four-semester full-time programme for bachelor graduates. With the increasing integration of information technology into daily life and work, this programme concentrates on the design, implementation, and evaluation of user-friendly and efficient software systems, with a focus on IT artifacts that support human practices. You will learn interaction techniques, interface design, user-centered processes, usability standards, and qualitative analyses. Our active research connects theory and practice and you can deepen your studies with electives from areas such as Economics, Computer Science, Media Studies, Law, Cultural Studies, and Sociology.

Founded in 1995, our Master's degree in Human-Computer Interaction is the first of its kind in Germany, organized with leading international scientists. The programme prepares students for careers in interaction design, usability-testing, UX-consulting, and agile software project management. It encourages involvement in research projects and international conferences.
