Students who prefer hands-on praxis and a strong grounding in mathematical and scientific fundamentals will thrive in the Maschinenbau B.Eng. program. The curriculum includes modules like Finite Elemente Methode and Werkstoffkunde. This programme features three specialisations — Allgemeiner Maschinenbau, Sicherheitsingenieurwesen, and Computational Engineering — each focusing on different aspects of modern engineering, from construction to digital product development. The programme prepares students to tackle societal challenges with interdisciplinary knowledge, develop sustainable technical solutions, and work in various industries, from automotive to medical technology. Students are also encouraged to engage in project-based learning, with opportunities for internships and industry collaborations, and take the 12-week Vorpraktikum.
