Bachelor in Mechanical Engineering (BEng)

The Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering at SRH University Heidelberg is a seven-semester programme structured in five-week blocks following the university's CORE principle, with an examination at the end of each block. The programme includes a practical phase and a sixteen-week Bachelor's thesis. Subjects covered include mathematics and natural sciences, engineering mechanics, thermodynamics, materials science, electrical engineering, computer-aided design, product development, automation and control, programming, quality management, fluid mechanics, heat transfer, and automotive and propulsion technology. Elective courses are available in areas such as battery technology, medical engineering, power plant engineering, and digital transformation and IoT. Student groups are kept to a maximum of thirty-five per group. The programme is located at SRH University in Heidelberg, Germany, with winter semester intake.
