Bachelor in International Mechanical Engineering BEng

The International Mechanical Engineering BEng at OTH Regensburg is a seven-semester programme designed for internationally oriented students who want to study classical mechanical engineering in English in Germany. The programme is marked by practical relevance, with many modules involving hands-on laboratory projects. Subject areas include mathematical and scientific fundamentals such as physics, engineering mathematics, and programming; engineering fundamentals covering technical mechanics, electrical engineering, and materials engineering; engineering applications such as machine elements and design; and interdisciplinary content covering business administration, project management, and quality assurance. An integrated practical industrial placement semester is included alongside international elements and language training modules. The seven semesters are divided into three study sections: the first two semesters, the third to fifth semesters, and the sixth and seventh semesters. The programme includes six theoretical semesters and one practical industrial placement semester.
