Bachelor in BEng in Robotics

The BEng in Robotics at THWS covers the development and implementation of robotic systems, requiring knowledge across computer science, electrical engineering, and mechanical engineering. The programme spans the design of sophisticated and complex robotic systems as both a technical field and an area of applied engineering practice. The programme runs over 7 semesters, starting in the winter semester. The first four semesters form the basic studies phase, covering fundamental and advanced courses in computer science, electrical engineering, and mechanical engineering. Semester five is a technical internship completed at a company. Semesters six and seven focus on specialisation in Industrial Robotics, Mobile Robotics and Humanoids, and Service Robotics, as well as the Bachelor's thesis. Graduates are awarded the Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) degree. The programme is offered at the Technical University of Applied Sciences Würzburg-Schweinfurt (THWS) in Schweinfurt, Germany.
