Students who are eager to combine academic study with practical experience and who are interested in the IHK certificate will thrive in this 10-semester General Mechanical Engineering Plus program.

Students in the General Mechanical Engineering Plus program at Hochschule Aalen will build a strong foundation in mechanical engineering and related fields, developing competencies in cyber-physical systems, smart production, and lifecycle management. They will apply their knowledge in real-world settings through cooperative work-study programs with partner companies, such as EMAG LaserTec, ELWEMA Automotive, and Kleemann GmbH, integrating theory and practice. The curriculum includes 5 years of study and 5 years of training, culminating in a Bachelor of Engineering degree and an IHK certificate.
