The Master's in Automotive Production Engineering equips graduates with skills to plan, develop, and control production systems in the automotive industry. The curriculum covers advanced manufacturing technologies, engineering processes in the automotive industry, production and logistics networks, production system and plant development, cost engineering and risk management, automation and equipment technologies, technology development and management, and digital technologies in engineering. Students also complete group projects, a scientific research seminar, and two elective modules from areas such as design, AI, negotiation, or entrepreneurship. The programme is structured over 3 semesters. The first semester covers technology development and innovation management, engineering processes, production and logistics networks, advanced manufacturing technologies, scientific research methods, and cost engineering. The second semester focuses on production system and plant design, automation and equipment technologies, digital technologies, and a group project. The third semester is dedicated to the Master's thesis. Language and culture courses run throughout. The programme starts in the summer semester with annual tuition of 2,400 EUR. It is offered at Technische Hochschule Ingolstadt in Ingolstadt.
