Students in the dual Bachelor of Engineering Maschinenbau – Industrial Engineering programme at TH Bingen gain a strong foundation in mathematics, natural sciences, and engineering, which they apply directly in the workplace. Key to this practical experience is the 'Binger Modell', where students attend classes in 14-tägig Wochenendblöcken while continuing to work in their companies. This model integrates academic learning with on-the-job training, ensuring that students are well-prepared for leadership roles in technical and economic fields. They learn to design, construct, and optimize mechanical systems, as well as manage production processes and technical projects.

Mastering digital development processes and modern production methods is a key focus, along with developing business acumen for managing technical projects and production workflows.

TH Bingen's programme is notable for its strong industry partnerships, including companies like Boehringer Ingelheim AG and SCHOTT AG, as well as its commitment to continuous evaluation and improvement of the curriculum. The programme has been certified by AQAS since 2012.
