This programme is designed for career changers, working professionals, and recent graduates. It focuses on developing skills in intercultural communication and social justice. Students study cross-cultural relations, power dynamics, oppression, and inclusion. The programme prepares learners to support diversity in communities and workplaces.

Focus areas include intercultural communication, cross-cultural relations, social justice, cultural diversity, power and privilege, equity and inclusion.

Eight upper-level courses (12.0 units), four core and four electives, plus a 3.0 unit practicum or final project. Full-time or part-time completion possible.

Graduates enter roles focused on intercultural relations, diversity, equity, and inclusion in community, workplace, or international settings.

Minimum second-year standing or university degree. Must be admissible to the University of Victoria. Related professional, volunteer, or personal experience in intercultural fields is required.

On-campus, full-time or part-time, duration up to eight months for full-time students.
