Students with a strong interest in analyzing and optimizing human movement and performance will thrive in the Sportwissenschaft (B.A.) programme. The curriculum integrates practical modules that enhance students' own sport motoric skills, including in unfamiliar sports, and equips them with training science fundamentals to teach various sports effectively to diverse groups. Students gain particular expertise in conducting diagnostic measures, planning intervention programs, and evaluating their impact. The six-semester programme, which is accredited, allows graduates to pursue further scientific qualifications or enter professions in areas such as public relations, education, health, management, and administration. Subjects such as sport psychology, sociology, and pedagogy are part of the core curriculum, and students also complete two practical internships during their studies. For those who meet the requirements, there are opportunities to continue to master's studies in areas such as Health Sport, High-Performance Sport, and Sport-/Health Management.

The programme emphasises practical skills, with sport motoric abilities honed through various modules. Students learn to apply training science fundamentals, including the use of statistical methods, to plan and evaluate training programs. The curriculum also includes a focus on scientific methodology, ensuring that students are well-versed in research techniques and statistical analysis.
