About Master in Sport Science for Health

The MSc Sport Science for Health at the University of Konstanz is a four-semester programme addressing the relationship between physical activity and the prevention and management of non-communicable diseases. The programme takes a multidisciplinary approach, integrating training and movement science, sport psychology, and social and health science, and draws on methods from neuroscience, exercise physiology, neuromechanics, psychometrics, and ambulatory assessment. The first year builds a comprehensive foundation across topics and methods in sport science, equipping students to make informed specialisation choices in the second year. Students work with on-site laboratories covering neuromechanics, physiology, psychology, and ecological momentary assessment, and learn to bridge basic and applied research for designing and evaluating health interventions. The programme starts in the winter semester and applications are accepted from 15 March to 15 April. It is offered at the University of Konstanz in Konstanz, Germany.
