The PEESE Master's programme at Technische Universität Berlin trains graduates who combine scientific and technical expertise with economic knowledge to address challenges in sustainable process and systems engineering. The programme covers process engineering, energy technology, environmental engineering and management, bioprocess engineering, and research and development. Students leave prepared either for direct entry into professional practice or for doctoral-level study. The four-semester structure begins in the winter semester and is built around compulsory modules alongside a large block of compulsory elective modules spanning process systems engineering, energy technologies, environmental engineering and sustainability, and management and intercultural skills. Elective modules give students further flexibility to shape their studies, and an optional internship is available. Students are expected to hold English at B2 level and are strongly advised to reach B2 in German by the end of the second semester.
