The Power Engineering Master's programme at Brandenburg University of Technology Cottbus-Senftenberg focuses on sustainable energy supply in the European context. Teaching centres on the challenge of delivering energy that is safe, affordable, and environmentally responsible, and it covers the full spectrum of energy research from traditional sources to renewables. A significant portion of lectures and seminars are delivered by industry professionals, and the programme maintains close cooperation with regional and national energy providers to ensure practically oriented training. Students choose one of two specialisations at the point of application: Electrical Power Engineering (EPE) or Power Generation from Fossil and Renewable Fuels (PGF).
