Bachelor in Online-Redaktion (Bachelor)

The Online-Redaktion (Bachelor) prepares graduates for cross-disciplinary roles in online newsrooms and web agencies, distinct from journalism or web design degrees. With 60 students annually, the programme emphasizes practical skills and scientific fundamentals. Graduates from this programme are well-prepared for roles in multimedia production, content marketing, and online editorial management, and can go on to work for media companies, web agencies, or even pursue further education in master's or PhD programmes.

The curriculum includes modules such as Journalistische Grundlagen und Praxis, Multimediale Produktion für das Web (Video, Audio), and Social Media und Content-Marketing. The programme is based at the Campus Südstadt and is led by Prof. Dr. Amelie Duckwitz and Prof. Dr. Petra Werner.
