Navigation at the Polish Air Force Academy is a bachelor's degree program taught in English over seven semesters, with yearly tuition of 3,000 EUR. The program prepares students to become professionals responsible for the operation of navigation systems and air traffic management. Civilian full-time and extramural first-degree courses offer specializations in the operation of airport navigation infrastructure and in air traffic management, while military full-time first-degree courses offer specializations in navigation and air traffic management. A navigation major graduate is awarded the title of engineer in accordance with the completed specialisation, along with a university diploma and the professional qualifications to serve in institutions related to air transport and its operation. Graduates also gain a theoretical background suited to research teams working in air, land, and sea navigation and air traffic services. A graduate of the Operation of Airport Ground Infrastructure specialisation gains extensive knowledge of the theoretical basis of navigation and radio-navigation, the construction and operation of ground-based airport infrastructure, and skills in operating radio navigation equipment and systems, particularly those found at airports. A graduate of the Operation of Airport Navigation Infrastructure specialisation gains knowledge and skills covering the basics of higher mathematics, with emphasis on the description, mathematical analysis, and interpretation of navigation-related issues. The seven-semester, English-medium program at the Polish Air Force Academy combines theoretical navigation training with specialization tracks aimed at both civilian airport operations and military air traffic roles, giving graduates a route into aviation-sector careers built on navigation and radio-navigation expertise.
