The Master's Programme in Materials Research is a multidisciplinary program drawing on physics, chemistry, biology, medical sciences, mathematics, and computer science. Students study and develop biomaterials, nanomaterials, smart materials, polymers, composites, electronics, energy generation and storage, and sustainable materials and their applications. The program includes a pathway toward becoming a Medical Physics Expert and a Radiation Protection Expert, qualifications that allow graduates to work in hospital settings upon achieving hospital physicist certification. The program has strong connections to industry and the technology start-up community, and students have the opportunity to conduct part of their studies or master's thesis through international collaborations.
