The Master of Science in Aquatic Sciences at the University of Jyväskylä focuses on freshwater systems — lakes, rivers, and wetlands — and the biological and physical-chemical processes that govern them. Students gain knowledge of how organisms interact with their aquatic environments, how human activity affects these ecosystems, and what ecosystem services inland waters provide to society.
