Master in Maschinenbau

Students focusing on the Maschinenbau Master at TU Ilmenau develop advanced skills in areas such as Feinwerktechnik und Optik, Konstruktion, and Mess- und Sensortechnik. TU Ilmenau is proud of the integration of the **G**emeinsamen **I**ngenieurwissenschaftlichen **G**rundlagen (GIG) in the first three semesters of the Bachelor program, which covers the fundamentals of mathematics, physics, and electrical engineering, as well as machinery and informatics. The Master program begins after students have completed 120 ECTS credits in the Bachelor program.
