Data science in this programme includes a five-week project within a partner laboratory at the CNAM Paris campus, alongside courses like 'Chaînes de Markov Cachées - Apprentissage par renforcement' and 'Apprentissage appliqué - Jeux de données réelles - Analyse'. The master TRIED specialises in training 'datascientists' who are experts in data analysis, treatment, and modelling, and who are proficient in artificial intelligence (IA) concepts and technologies. The curriculum is multidisciplinary, bridging applied mathematics, computer science, and physics, with a focus on complex statistical modelling and deep learning techniques. Students also gain experience in teamwork, project management, and interdisciplinary skills, with the option to pursue a PhD in one of the partner laboratories. The programme is co-accredited with Telecom Sud Paris (TSP) of the Institut Polytechnique de Paris (IPP), with about a third of the students coming from TSP.
