The bachelor of arts in legal studies is the only ABA-approved program of its kind in the St. Louis area. It combines theoretical knowledge with practical legal skills through structured coursework in law, ethics, and research. Students engage in synchronous instruction for key legal specialty courses. The program prepares graduates for roles in legal support and related fields.

Focus areas include Business Law Track, Criminal Law Track, Civil Rights Law Track, International Law Track, Legal Ethics, Legal Research and Writing.

The programme requires 42 credit hours, including 9 hours of required legal specialty courses delivered synchronously. Students select 9 credit hours from one of four tracks, with the remaining credits fulfilled through electives and general education requirements.

Graduates enter roles as paralegals, legal assistants, or legal support staff in law firms, corporations, government agencies, and non-profit organizations.

Applicants must hold a high school diploma or equivalent. A minimum GPA of 2.5 is required for admission. Official transcripts and a completed application are required.

The programme totals about 42 credit hours. On-campus, Live Virtual (synchronous), and hybrid online (asynchronous and synchronous via Live Virtual). For international students, tuition is around the median for US programmes. The institution admits about 58% of applicants.
