Bachelor in Industrial Engineering

The Industrial Engineering programme at Aalen University of Applied Sciences runs for 7 semesters and prepares students for challenges in companies by combining engineering and economics content. This programme is distinctive for its Industry 4.0 Center, which helps companies modernize their production and processes through digitalization, automation, and intelligent networking. The curriculum is structured to lay a strong foundation in the initial semesters, deepen knowledge with practice-oriented, vocational-technical orientations in the second year, and apply theoretical knowledge to professional practice in the third and fourth years. The course also allows for consolidation of a chosen special field with compulsory elective modules and a typical industrial engineering thesis.
