This programme is designed for recent graduates and career changers seeking entry into the hospitality and tourism industry. Students learn foundational business skills and practical hospitality management knowledge. The curriculum includes courses in hotel operations, restaurant management, and marketing. Hands-on experience is gained through a student-operated restaurant and a paid work term.

1 year; 11 courses and one work term; co-op included; full-time or part-time options.

Graduates enter roles such as front desk agent, hotel receptionist, or food and beverage supervisor.

C+ in English 12 or C in English 12 Camosun Alternative; math prerequisite required (C in Pre-calculus 11, Foundations of Math 11, MATH 073, MATH 077, or C+ in MATH 072 or MATH 075); students must complete math course or pass assessment in first semester; FOODSAFE Level 1 and Serving It Right certification required.
