Master in Healthcare Analytics

The programme runs over one year, delivered part-time online, and is organised into three mandatory ten-credit modules. Semester 1 introduces Statistics for Healthcare Analytics, Semester 2 covers Health Care Analytics: Tools and Practices, and the final year-long Connected Health module integrates digital health concepts and technology. Each module combines lectures with practical assignments and adds up to a total of 30 credits required for the award.

In the Statistics for Healthcare Analytics module, students with no prior statistical background learn to analyse theoretical concepts, apply appropriate statistical tests to healthcare data, visualise results and evaluate threats to validity. The curriculum also develops skills in data modelling, business intelligence tools and predictive analytics, preparing graduates for roles such as ICT Project Manager, Business Intelligence analyst, eHealth Integration Specialist or Data Manager within health services.
