Students work in individual studio spaces on projects in painting, drawing, printmaking, photography, video, sculpture, installation, and performance. They complete courses in art history, theory, and critical ideas alongside studio practice. Field trips to Tr’ondëk Hwëch’in heritage sites are part of the program. Students engage with the arts community in Dawson City through lectures and workshops.

Graduates can transfer to BFA programs at affiliated art schools across Canada.

Minimum 65% in English 12 or ENGL 060 or EAP 060, or mature student status with acceptable assessment score. An art portfolio is required.
