About Bachelor in Elektrotechnik (B.Sc.)

The Bachelor in Elektrotechnik (B.Sc.) is a six-semester programme with 180 ECTS points, including a semester abroad. In the first three semesters, students study the mathematical, scientific, and electrical foundations, along with Informatik. Students can also choose from five specialisations: Automatisierungstechnik, Elektrische Energietechnik, Informationssysteme, Kommunikationstechnik, and Ingenieurpädagogik. Every student completes a project in their fourth and fifth semester, with the fifth semester dedicated to a project that can be completed as part of an international exchange with a partner university or in Osnabrück. The curriculum also includes a project week and a Bachelor thesis.
