Bachelor in Electrical Engineering (BEng)

Berlin, Germany Taught in English Open to international students

About the Program

The BEng in Electrical Engineering at SRH University is a 7-semester programme starting in the winter semester, covering hardware and software development, technical project management, and technical sales. The programme is delivered in five-week blocks with an exam for each module in the fifth week, and does not follow a traditional semester or trimester structure. The curriculum progresses from mathematics, natural sciences, and foundational electrical engineering in the first year through electronics, computer science, and innovation and economy modules, to production and project management, sensors and actuators, networking, and engineering design in the second year. The third year covers software engineering, embedded systems, systems theory, control engineering, information processing and transmission, and a choice between electronic components or anatomy and device technology, as well as electric drives or vital signalling and digital technology. An integrated internship and a Bachelor's thesis form part of the degree, and a recognised specialisation is recorded on the transcript when both are completed in the same elective area. Student groups are capped at 30 students, and a mentoring system with an open-door policy provides individual support throughout the programme. There are no application deadlines; applications are accepted until all places are filled. The programme is offered at SRH University in Heidelberg, Germany.
