The Culinary Management program at Conestoga College is a two-year non-degree program for students who are passionate about food and want to become head chefs, cooks, or manage their own food businesses. This program provides students with foundational skills in classic and emerging culinary trends and techniques. Students will learn to run a kitchen and the entrepreneurial side of running a business.

The curriculum includes courses such as Applied Baking Techniques, Culinary Theory, Butchery, and Restaurant Operations. Students will develop skills in food preparation, presentation, and safety, as well as business principles and costing practices. The program also includes a paid four-month co-op work term, which provides students with hands-on experience in the industry.

Graduates of this program can pursue careers as Executive Chefs, Restaurant Managers, Food Service Coordinators, Catering Managers, or Kitchen Supervisors. They can work in various industries such as restaurants, hotels, and food service companies.
