WSG University offers this Bachelor's program in Computer Science, with a focus on Computer Engineering and Mechatronics, taught in English over seven semesters. The program aims to prepare engineering staff with the competencies needed to work in the contemporary international labor market, with extensive knowledge in the design, production, and operation of mechanical devices and automation used in industry. The program also covers sensors and the measurement of non-electric quantities, the construction and use of real-time operating systems, and the structures, algorithms, and design principles behind machine and device control systems. Students learn about the elements and components used to build control systems, the communication interfaces used in mechatronics, and the application of numerical methods in mechatronics. The curriculum additionally covers construction methods, the methodology for assessing reliability, and the regulations and standards that apply to selected mechatronic systems, along with the general principles of operating machinery and equipment. Computer engineering and mechatronics combine computer science with mechanical and electrical engineering to design systems that sense, compute, and act on the physical world, such as robots, automated production lines, and industrial control systems. Graduates typically pursue careers as automation engineers, robotics engineers, control systems designers, or mechatronics specialists across manufacturing and industrial sectors that rely on automated equipment.
