Graduates work as Clinical Measurement Physiologists in hospitals, diagnostic labs and health services in Ireland and abroad, providing diagnostic test results and contributing to interdisciplinary patient care, with options for registration with the Irish Institute of Clinical Measurement Physiology or further study.

The programme runs over four full-time years. Year 1 builds a science foundation – human biology, chemistry, maths, physics, anatomy and physiology plus IT and introductory professional practice. Year 2 expands into disease biology, biochemistry, instrumentation, pharmacology, statistics and research methods. Years 3 and 4 focus on the five clinical disciplines (gastro-intestinal, neurophysiology, vascular, respiratory, cardiology) through taught modules and a series of minor and a major placement, culminating in an honours degree.
