Master in Biomedicine (MSc)

The MSc in Biomedicine at Hochschule Fresenius integrates knowledge of biomedicine, genetics, and clinical research, with a focus on designing and conducting independent research projects. Students develop skills in analysing complex biological data using statistical and bioinformatics tools. The programme prepares graduates for roles in clinical studies, biotechnological innovation, and collaborative work with physicians and scientists. Key topics in the programme include regulatory affairs and ethics in biomedicine, cell signalling pathways, endocrine and immune system function, bioinformatics, medicinal microbiology (bacteria and parasites), hematology and hemostaseology, cardiovascular and neurological disorders at the cellular and molecular level, and molecular pathology of cancer including immunology, disease models, and cancer biomarker discovery. The programme runs four semesters starting in the winter semester, though an accelerated one-year path is also available. Tuition is 10,560 EUR per year.
