Students with a background in biomedical engineering, life sciences, or related fields will find their skills in high demand in Ilmenau's interdisciplinary research labs. This 2-year full-time programme enables students to combine their academic and practical skills in the research labs of the Faculty of Computer Science and Automation, where they will engage in innovative projects to develop medical devices and technologies. Students will be immersed in a collaborative environment that values interdisciplinarity, and will be supported in their research by faculty members with expertise in biomedical engineering. Students will also gain hands-on experience through research projects with local and international partners, including the Fraunhofer Institute for Digital Medicine.
