Master in Berlin MBA (part-time)

The Berlin MBA (part-time) at HWR Berlin delivers the same curriculum as the full-time Berlin MBA in a format that allows students to continue working. The programme runs over 24 months across 4 semesters starting in October, with study structured into weekend attendance blocks and week-long sessions rather than continuous full-time study. The programme is organised in three phases. The first phase covers core management modules, including a Leadership Development component and options for professional development in methodological and social skills. The second phase offers elective specialisations: options available include Innovative Sustainability, Transformation Management and Change, Digital Business and Technology Management, and Entrepreneurship and Innovation. Electives include international study elements, such as collaboration with Porto Business School and the Barton School of Business in Wichita, Kansas. The third phase is a Master's thesis structured as a company project. Teaching makes regular use of corporate projects, case studies, business simulations, and presentations by company representatives. The programme covers core management topics including Finance, Strategy, Economics, Human Resources, Business Information Systems, Marketing, Operations and Supply Chain Management.
