Graduates are qualified to become registered nurses in Canada. The program prepares students to provide care across the lifespan in diverse settings. It combines theory and practice with clinical placements in various care environments. Students learn to assess, plan, deliver and evaluate care for individuals, families and communities.

Focus areas include elderly care, Aboriginal communities, rural communities, women’s health.

Four-year program with clinical placements throughout. No co-op or practicum specified beyond placements.

Graduates enter roles as registered nurses in hospitals, community health, long-term care, and public health settings.

Six Ontario 4U or 4M credits including ENG4U (minimum 75%), one 4U in Biology, Chemistry, and Mathematics. Minimum average of 75% in required courses. Criminal Record Check required annually. Medical documentation, Hepatitis B immunization, CPR certification, two-step TB test, and annual flu vaccination required.

On-campus, full-time, four years.
