Graduates are qualified to pursue careers in physics-related fields. This programme provides training in fundamental physical laws and modern experimental methods. Students develop skills in mathematical and computational tools for solving physical problems. They gain hands-on experience through laboratory work and research projects.

Focus areas include Astrophysics and Relativity, Physics and Quantum Information, Mathematical Physics and Scientific Computing, Materials and Nanotechnologies, Medical Physics, Projects and Practical Work.

90 credits, 4 years full-time, includes co-op option with three paid work terms.

Graduates enter roles such as physicist, science teacher, or researcher in industry, government, or academia.

DEC in natural sciences (200.B1), sciences letters and arts (700.A1), or equivalent. Required courses include calculus, algebra, physics, and chemistry. English proficiency required for international students.
