Bachelor in BA Data Science & Business

The BA Data Science and Business at Berlin International University of Applied Sciences is a 6-semester programme that integrates data science and business analytics with management. No prior programming knowledge is required; students learn Python and R alongside machine learning and analytical techniques applied to real datasets. The curriculum also covers digital marketing, platform business, digital enterprise, and database management, with all technical content taught in an applied rather than abstract manner. The first year establishes foundations in management and data science for all students. The second and third years develop the specialisation further, including soft-skills courses in team-building, conflict management, and consulting. Students have the opportunity to obtain certificates in machine learning and cloud computing through the Amazon Web Services Academy. An internship in the fifth semester allows students to apply their skills at an organisation of their choice, and the programme concludes with a Bachelor's thesis. The programme is taught in English, opens in the winter semester, and is located at Berlin International University of Applied Sciences in Berlin.
