Bachelor in Angewandte Theologie (B.A.)

In the **Bachelor of Arts in Angewandte Theologie**, students are academically prepared for pastoral and faith proclamation roles, such as community workers, and for placements in religious education, charitable institutions, or elementary schools. The curriculum includes biblical, historical, and systematic theology, as well as practical applications, human and social sciences, and philosophy. The programme is offered both on campus in Paderborn and as a distance-learning programme, with online Blended Learning formats and a one-week on-site session each semester. Students can complete the 180 ECTS credits in 6 semesters of full-time study or extend their studies to 12 semesters part-time.
