The Bachelor's programme in Intercultural Theology is a three-year degree designed for students with an interest in intercultural and interreligious research. The programme develops critical, analytical, and comparative skills across a wide range of disciplines. Core areas of competence include Biblical Studies, Global Christian History, Ecumenical Theology, Religious Studies, Systematic Theology, and Practical Theology, all studied from an intercultural perspective. The curriculum covers structural elements, forms, and transformation processes of Christian theology in different cultural contexts, and enables students to analyse the transcultural character of global Christianities and their interactions with other religions. The programme runs over 6 semesters starting in the winter semester. All classes are taught in English. The programme is offered at the University of Göttingen in Göttingen, Germany.
