Overview
The NTU Research Scholarship (RSS) is awarded to outstanding graduate students undertaking full-time research programmes — Master's by Research or PhD — at NTU. It is the university's standard graduate research funding route and is assigned by the candidate's school, subject to availability.
Eligibility
- Local or international student seeking full-time admission to a Graduate Research programme (Master's by Research or PhD)
- Minimum of Honours (Distinction) or equivalent
Value
Monthly stipend for international students: S$3,000 (PhD) / S$2,900 (Master's), rising after passing PhD qualifying exams; plus annual tuition fee coverage. Tenable one year initially, renewable up to 2 years (Master's) or 4 years (PhD). International scholars must fulfil Graduate Assistantship Programme (teaching/lab) duties.
