Students of the Wirtschaftsingenieurwesen (Bau) B.Eng. programme at Hochschule Mainz gain a solid foundation in both technical and economic disciplines. The programme is seven semesters long, divided into a two-semester Grundstudium, a two-semester Kernstudium, a two-semester Schwerpunktstudium, and a final semester dedicated to a Praxisprojekt and Bachelorarbeit. In the final semester, students complete their Bachelorarbeit and Praxisprojekt, demonstrating their ability to apply scientific methods to practical tasks. The degree is accredited, and the curriculum includes modules on Technical Mechanics, Building Construction, and Economic subjects, with optional modules in the fifth and sixth semesters.
