The course uses a state-of-the-art Physiotherapy and Clinical Rehabilitation Suite, where students work on a hydrotherapy treadmill, consulting rooms and a digital anatomy suite. This facility underpins the practical focus of the programme and allows immediate application of theory to live animal cases.

Each week combines online e-learning with scheduled in-person practical days. Students follow interactive tutorials, develop case studies and undertake supervised placements with qualified veterinary physiotherapists. The part-time programme runs over two to three years; after two years the PGDip is awarded, and a further research project in the third year leads to the MSc.
