Tremplin DEC - Orientation

For Tremplin DEC - Orientation, tuition is CAD 200 per year.

This programme is for students who want to start college studies in Quebec but do not yet meet the standard admission requirements. It helps build the skills and knowledge needed for a full DEC (Diploma of College Studies). Courses in French, math, science, and social sciences prepare students for their chosen field of study. The programme is for first-time college students with no prior college credits.

Classes are held in a structured environment that supports academic success. The curriculum includes general education courses and guidance to help choose a career path. Advisors work with students to plan next steps after completing the programme. The focus is on developing strong study habits and language skills.

Admission is open to those who have not yet started college. There are no prerequisites. Apply through the SRAM system before March 1 for fall or November 1 for winter. A French language test is required if secondary education was not in French. Fees include a $20 test cost and about $200 for materials.
