About BA Theatre (Acting)

In the fourth year, the acting cohort forms a company that stages three productions as part of the Fountain School season, giving students extensive performance experience before graduation.

The programme runs over four years. The first year introduces performance writing and introductory acting. The second year builds on fundamental techniques with acting, voice, speech and movement modules. In the third year students deepen their craft through advanced acting, voice clinics and modern theatre studies, while third-year students also appear in at least one season show. The final year focuses on professional performance, advanced techniques and a major production.

The BA in Theatre (Acting) prepares students for professional work on stage and screen, addressing questions of character development, theatrical history and the practical demands of the performing arts industry.
