Master in Textile studies

Textile studies is a master's degree program at Lodz University of Technology, based in Łódź, Poland, running one and a half years and taught in English, with yearly tuition of 14600 PLN. Delivered as Textile Engineering, the programme continues on from the corresponding first-cycle programme and trains specialists with high potential for innovation. Alongside core and field-specific coursework covering textile machine mechanics, microchip systems, and the design, modelling, and preservation of textiles and special fibers, graduates gain advanced knowledge in their chosen specialization, spanning textile design and engineering, clothing science and technology, innovative technologies for textile design, quality engineering, and textile human ecology. Textile engineering as a field combines materials science, mechanical engineering, and design to develop fabrics and finished textile products for uses ranging from clothing to medical and industrial applications. Graduates commonly pursue careers as textile engineers, product developers, quality engineers, or designers within clothing, sportswear, medical textile, and transport-related industries, or continue into further research. The programme's one-and-a-half-year, English-taught format allows graduates of a related first-cycle programme to move directly into advanced, specialization-focused study.
