Diploma in Industrial Engineering Technology

The Technology of Industrial Engineering programme is a full-time, on-campus diploma offered at Collège Ahuntsic. It takes three years to complete and includes two paid work terms through the alternating work-study program. Students begin with foundational courses in math, physics, and engineering principles, then progress to specialized topics in production systems, project management, and logistics. The final year focuses on applied projects and real-world problem solving in industrial settings.

Students learn how to improve production efficiency, manage workflows, and support sustainable manufacturing. They study process optimization, quality control, supply chain management, and automation. Hands-on training uses modern equipment and software tools used in industry. Graduates are prepared for roles in manufacturing, operations, and industrial planning.

Admission is available only for the fall session, starting in January according to the SRAM calendar. Applicants must have a Secondary School Diploma (DES) with either a TS or SN stream in 4th year secondary school, or Math 436. The programme has a 56% rate of graduates continuing to university and an 88% job placement rate within six months of graduation.
