The Bachelorstudiengang Technische Informatik combines engineering fundamentals with informatics, focusing on the development of hardware and software systems used in technical devices, machines, and networked infrastructures. The curriculum includes core modules such as Informatik 1 and 2, Softwaretechnik, Datenbanken, and Betriebssysteme.

Throughout the programme, students engage in practical projects, such as the Projektarbeit in the 5th semester, which involves solving complex technical problems in teams. The programme also includes a Praxisphase in a company, where students gain hands-on experience in real development projects. The 6-semester programme qualifies graduates for roles in embedded systems, automation, IoT, and IT security.
