About the Program

The BSc Sustainability is organised over three years, each delivering 120 credits of core and optional modules. Year 1 introduces global environmental issues, urban development, climate justice and research methods, including field work in the UAE. Year 2 adds an overseas field project in Berlin together with comparative research skills, while Year 3 culminates in a dissertation, a sustainability placement and specialised modules on mobilities, healthy cities and technological innovation. It suits candidates eager to develop practical solutions to environmental challenges. Applicants should have strong academic results – typically three A-levels at AAA-ABB or IB scores of 6-6-6 (or 6-5-5 with three HL subjects) – and be prepared to demonstrate English proficiency through IELTS, TOEFL or PTE. The programme is aimed at students who wish to combine interdisciplinary study with real-world projects and industry engagement.
